North Whidbey Aquatic Club junior swimmer Olivia Tungate has been invited by USA Swimming to attend the Western Zone Select Swimming Camp in Tempe, Ariz., May 29-June 1.

North Whidbey Aquatic Club junior swimmer Olivia Tungate has been invited by USA Swimming to attend the Western Zone Select Swimming Camp in Tempe, Ariz., May 29-June 1.

Twenty-eight male and 28 female elite athletes are selected for each United States zone camp.

The camp includes five workouts in an Olympic-size pool, four educational sessions and recreational activities.

USA Swimming provides each athlete with USA Swimming gear, equipment and educational materials.
NWAC is a taxpayer-supported program of North Whidbey Park and Recreation District, open to youth of all abilities up to 18 years old.

NWAC’s mission is to be a competitive team that is grounded on two principles: character and leadership. The club fosters an atmosphere of commitment and consistency focused on the long run: where swimming becomes a lifetime sport.
