Coupeville High School seniors Aaron Trumbull and Julia Myers received the OlympicLeague.com Scholar-Athlete Awards for 2014-15.

Each was awarded a $250 scholarship. The funds were raised through sales of John Fisken’s photographs through the Olympic League website.

Trumbull, a four-year letterman in basketball and baseball, plans to attend Olympic Community College and play baseball for two years and then transfer to Central Washington University. He will study engineering.

Myers, who lettered in basketball, soccer and tennis during her Coupeville career, will attend Western Washington University and study physical therapy.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must have competed in at least two sports all four years of high school and maintained a 3.0 grade point average.
