It’s not too late to register for Whidbey Audubon’s popular Birds Of Whidbey series of classes. The classes start Sept. 6 and end in May of 2013.

The courses will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland on the first and third Thursday evenings of each month from 7 to 9 p.m.

A follow-up field trip will take place once a month on Saturday morning led by experienced and eccentric birders.

The fee is $150 for Whidbey Audubon Society members and $175 for nonmembers. Fees may be paid in two payments, but must be paid in full by Sept. 6 to be in the class.   The class is already more than half full, so don’t delay. More information is available at whidbeyaudubon.org.
