I want to pass along a big “thank you” to the generous people of Oak Harbor! I just returned from the Gulf region of Mississippi where I helped distribute the relief supplies donated to those affected by Hurricane Katrina.

For over two weeks, a trailer from Schisler Trucking was parked at Oak Harbor Assembly of God, and during that time people donated food, water, diapers, cleaning supplies and many other needed items. Many churches, business, and individuals gave until the trailer was filled with over 25,000 pounds of supplies!

While I was there, many people told me to pass on “thanks” to the people who gave. They could not believe that people so far away cared about them! Your generosity is making a difference in the lives of hurting people.
