The following reports were compiled from calls made to the Island County Sheriff’s Office:

Sunday, July 4

At 11:57 a.m., an Ault Field Road resident reported that a neighbor was shooting surgical lasers into her mind.

At 2 p.m., a Forest Lane resident reported that a large owl was on the driveway.

At 2:56 p.m., a caller on Leitch Place reported that two pit bulls were attacking a cat and a girl was trying to get in between them.

At 3:50 p.m., a small oil spill was reported at the Oak Harbor Marina.

Monday, July 5

At 5:31 p.m., a woman reported that she was running on Bayview Road and a man in a white pickup slowed down beside her and started yelling perverted stuff.

Tuesday, July 6

At 8:39 a.m., a caller reported that an owl was stuck in a soccer net on South Main Street.

At 10:21 a.m., a caller from a Highway 20 business reported that there was video of someone trying to pry open doors in the night.

At 4:23 p.m., a Xanadu Lane resident reported that a man claiming that he’s a botanist collecting specimens keeps coming onto his property.

At 5:53 p.m., a Goss Lake Road resident reported that 55 invisible people were on her property.

At 9:25 p.m., a High Street resident reported that a helicopter was flying too low over the area.

Wednesday, July 7

At 7:48 a.m., a caller reported that a couple on Ault Field Road were beating each other up.

At 10:11 a.m., a driver reported that a big white door was on the highway near Winterhawk Lane.

At 12:24 p.m., a Sequoia Drive resident reported that a welding tank and torches were stolen.

At 3:41 p.m., an Oak Harbor pastor reported that he doesn’t want a previous member of the church to return after getting out of prison.

At 4:20 p.m., a Parker Road resident reported that someone tried to steal a sculpture.

At 4:59 p.m., a caller reported that a large fight was happening on Heller Street.

Thursday, July 8

At 9:19 a.m., a Topaz Court resident reported that his clothes were stolen.

At 9:22 a.m., a bike was reported stolen on Main Street.

At 11:50 a.m., a driver reported that a camera mounted on a tripod was in the middle of Monticello Way.

At 12:27 p.m., a caller reported that a bone was sticking out of the sand on Brighton Board Walk.

At 2:25 p.m., a resident reported that an outboard motor was stolen from off a boat on Maxwelton Road.

At 6:29 p.m., a Briarwood Drive resident reported that a neighbor is flying a drone over his property.

At 6:59 p.m., a caller reported that the public shower is stuck on at Double Bluff beach.

Friday, July 9

At 7:10 p.m., a Haven Way resident reported that kids in the neighborhood were riding go-karts in the street.

At 8:47 p.m., a Haines Road resident reported that a neighbor is making “a mountain of noise.”

Saturday, July 10

At 1:31 a.m., a Cultus Bay Road resident reported that his wife’s boyfriend assaulted him.

At 11:33 a.m., a Scenic Heights Road resident reported that a homeless man on the beach was throwing rocks and yelling.

At 12:11 p.m., a Silver Lake Road resident reported that an injured deer was in the chicken coop.

At 5:42 p.m., a Saratoga Road resident reported a satanic message was left on the answering machine. The caller said the backward-speaker mentioned the devil.

At 7:21 p.m., a Harding Avenue resident reported that “a really nasty tweaker guy” was in the backyard.

Sunday, July 11

At 3:35 p.m., a caller at the Unitarian church reported that someone keeps vandalizing a BLM banner.

Monday, July 12

At 9:33 a.m., a Forest Glen Road resident reported an ongoing problem with neighbors screaming obscenities at roosters that are in the area.

At 10:26 a.m., a Shore Avenue resident reported that an outboard motor was stolen.

At 2:55 p.m., a Jaydee Way resident reported that a car was taken by a friend who refused to return it.

At 3:14 p.m., a caller reported seeing a man on a trail at Joseph Whidbey State Park who was covered in blood and wobbling.

At 5:46 p.m., a West Crescent Harbor Road resident reported that a neighbor’s dog keeps killing chickens.

At 6:13 p.m., an East Fakkema Road resident reported that a neighbor cut the caller’s tree down without permission.

At 7:27 p.m., a Goss Lake Road resident reported that 60 volunteers from the Island County jail had been at her house since February of 2020. They messed with her TV and prevented her from washing clothes.

At 10:18 p.m., a caller on Parker Road reported that for the fourth time someone tried to steal money out of donations boxes, most recently with an angle grinder.

Tuesday, July 13

At 8:21 a.m., a caller reported that a homeless man was wrapped in a blanket and sitting on Crescent Harbor Road.

At 11:26 a.m., a driver reported that someone dumped a large black bag on the side of Highway 525.

At 2:03 p.m., a Balda Road resident reported that a cash box and five bunches of flowers were stolen from a flower stand.

At 9:24 p.m., an unruly person was reported at the hospital.
