On Saturday, March 19, Washington State Parks is allowing free entrance in honor of its 103rd birthday.

No Discover Pass is required to visit any of Whidbey Island’s state parks including Fort Casey, Fort Ebey, Ebey’s Landing and Deception Pass.

A second free day is scheduled this month on Saturday, March 26.

Other days scheduled this year are April 22, May 8, June 4, June 11, Aug. 25, Sept. 24 and Nov. 11.

A Discover Pass is still required on these days to access lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
