Singers to perform

Piper Eger and Betsy Senff will present a concert in Oak Harbor on Sunday.

“Piper Eger and Betsy Senff will present a concert in Oak Harbor on Sunday, Aug. 6, at the First Christian Reformed Church. An evening of music for the community will be presented by soprano Piper Eger and mezzo-soprano Betsy Senff on Sunday, Aug. 3., at 7:30 p.m. at the First Christian Reformed Church.Eger is co-director of the Skagit Symphony Chorus and assistant conductor of the Skagit Valley Chorale. As a soloist she has appeared with the Everett Chorale, Portland Chorale and Orchestra, the North Cascades Concert Band, Skagit Symphony, the Whatcom Chorale and the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra. She is also a violinist and violist.Senff has sung extensively in the Pacific Northwest, performing the works of Bach, Handel, Stravinsky and Bernstein. She is a chorister in the Whatcom Chorale and has appeared as soloist with the Portland Chorale, Skagit Valley Chorale and many groups in Seattle and elsewhere. She is soloist and cantor for the Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church.The two will be accompanied by Cheri Cook-Blodgett, pianist. Admission to the concert is by donation. The church is located at 1411 Wieldraayer Road, Oak Harbor.”
