The following items were selected from reports made to the Oak Harbor Police Department:

Friday, Aug. 18

At 6:05 a.m., a caller reported that a male was punching and slapping a girl at Northwest Clipper Drive.

Saturday, Aug. 19

At 11:04 p.m., a caller reported that five Mustangs were peeling out and doing donuts at a parking lot on Southwest Erie Street.

Monday, Aug. 21

At 3:54 p.m., a caller reported that he was bit by a dog a week before. The caller said the dog was supposed to be quarantined, but the owner had been walking it out.

Tuesday, Aug. 22

At 10:40 a.m., a caller reported that a small child was living in unsanitary conditions and that two dogs were never being taken outside at a property on Southeast Pioneer Way.

At 2:40 p.m., a caller reported that someone left a child alone in a vehicle on Northeast Midway Boulevard. The child then got out of the vehicle to look at cats.

At 4:03 p.m., a Northeast 16th Avenue resident said someone had cut the hose to her gas line.

Wednesday, Aug. 23

At 12:46 p.m., a North Oak Harbor Street resident reported that he believed his roommate poisoned him.

At 2:11 p.m., a caller reported that a man was following a young girl on Highway 20 with his pants falling down.

Thursday, Aug. 24

At 8:36 p.m., a caller reported that someone texted her to “turn on the camera and see what happens.”

At 10:06 p.m, a caller reported that their daughter received an email from an unknown sender who threatened to kill her and sent her address.

Friday, Aug. 25

At 3:07 a.m., a caller reported that a male subject under the influence was banging his head on the ground with his pants down on Highway 20.
