Eric and Aleshia Mitten, owners of Windermere Real Estate/Whidbey Island in Coupeville and Oak Harbor, announced to their brokers and staff on Oct. 24 that current branch manager Kristen Stavros will join them as co-owners of the two offices beginning on Jan. 1, according to a press release.

Stavros has served as branch manager of Windermere Oak Harbor for the past two years, prior to which she was a top-producing broker within the same office. In addition to announcing that Stavros would join them as a co-owner in 2020, Mitten said Stavros will also take over managing brokerage operations in the Oak Harbor and Coupeville offices. After nearly 20 years of running the brokerage, Mitten said he will transition into a supporting role and take time to travel and explore other interests, the press release states.

Managing broker Jason McFadyen will continue to lead Windermere’s growing property management division.

“We are very excited and fortunate to have Kristen join our ownership and take over leadership of the Oak Harbor and Coupeville offices,” Mitten said in a press release. “She has the drive, passion and knowledge that will lead Windermere Real Estate/Whidbey Island into the future.”
