Registration is still open for the second annual Race the Reserve, which is set for Saturday, Aug. 10, at Mickey Clark Field in Coupeville.

The event includes a half marathon, which begins at 8:30 a.m., and 10K and 5K races, which start at 9.

The fee is $55 for the half marathon, $40 for the 10K and $25 for the 5K. Participants can register online at active.com through 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8. Runners can also register the day of the race beginning at 6:30 a.m. (A $5 surcharge will apply.)

In addition to the scenic race course, participants will be treated to music at the finish line, T-shirts, goodie bags and refreshments.

Chip timing is provided by BuDu Racing.

The race is sponsored by the parents of the Coupeville High School graduating class of 2014.
