At 6:55 p.m., a driver reported that a bicyclist on Highway 20 threw a tape measurer across the roadway.

At 8:26 p.m., a resident reported that a lot of gray smoke was coming from a container ship in the Lagoon Point area.

At 9:06 p.m., a Taft Road resident reported that a neighbor had cameras pointed into her window and was shining lasers into her house.

At 9:22 p.m., a Hastie Lake Road resident reported that neighbors were firing off potato cannons and the spuds were landing in the caller’s yard.

Sunday, Aug. 28

At 8:28 a.m., a resident reported that a man near a bus stop on Highway 525 was running into the road and pretending to shoot cars with finger guns.

At 11:45 a.m., a Northeast Otis Street resident reported that two dirty men were outside a church protesting sin.

At 2:09 p.m., a resident reported that a horse was abandoned on Hunt Road.

Monday, Aug. 29

At 2:29 a.m., a driver reported that two people were walking down the middle of Highway 525.

At 3:15 a.m., a caller reported that he was walking to Maxwelton and getting scared in the dark. He asked for a ride.

At 6:47 a.m., a resident of Northwest Grace Street reported that deer were causing damage to his property. He asked if anything could be done to combat them.

At 10:31 a.m., a caller at a Main Street business reported that a man outside was playing accordion so loudly that they couldn’t hear customer orders.
