At a recent Port of Coupeville meeting I was so encouraged by the passion and commitment of the local community for the well being and the future of the Greenbank Farm. What was not mentioned at that meeting is there are two sides to every story.

The implication was that the farm is in trouble. Nothing is farther from the truth! There are dedicated volunteers, staff and vendors working every day to ensure the continued smooth running of “The Jewel of Whidbey.” Come see for yourselves. I invite the whole community of this great island to join me in rolling up our sleeves and volunteering to preserve your farm as a true celebration of Whidbey’s rural character and spirit.
