Politics: Ignore politics, love your neighbor

Nothing makes a terrorist happier than to see us fighting amongst ourselves.

In Wednesday’s letters to the editor a writer complained about a missing Kerry sign. Now, have you noticed how many Bush signs have been knocked down or painted over from Clinton to Oak Harbor?

Also, some time ago a person wrote and complained about a Shelton sign that was nailed to a tree, which no matter how hard I looked, I could not find. Yet there is a large Conard sign nailed to a tree at Ken’s Corner.

It’s time for civility and working together. If one Kerry sign is missing there are plenty to read as you drive 525.

We all have to live together after the election, and it’s time now to love your neighbor regardless of their political leaning. Nothing makes a terrorist happier than to see us fighting amongst ourselves. You need to remember we are at war and we need to stand behind whoever wins our elections and show the world a united country.
