Whidbey News-Times readers, I have achieved my goal. I have stopped Ann Adams in her last two letters from bashing President Bush. She chooses to focus her hateful letters at me personally. Does that mean she dislikes me more than the President and the Republican Party? I say, that is just marvelous.
Ann stated in the Oct. 24 Whidbey News-Times that Mr. Logan says “Ann, you can pat yourself on the back that your letters helped elect the President.†She states, Washington’s electoral went to Kerry. How is it I helped elect the president? Ann, weren’t the popular votes the Democrats’ argument in the 2000 election? This will be last time I respond to Ann’s letters, as I am sure most readers have figured it out.
There was a news story on the local NBC news stating there has been a fluctuation of about 300 liberals moving to Canada to live in socialism, as they can’t live in a country with President Bush. I actually applaud them for their courage. I would be extremely happy to help Ms. Adams move if she wants. I believe people would pitch in to pay for her U-haul.
Adam’s attack on the Ann Coulter’s book, “How to talk to a liberal if you must†was taken out of context. Here are some quotes regarding Coulter’s book. “A fluent polemicist with a gift to harness syllogistic argument,†Washington Post. “Coulter is a trailblazer,†Los Angeles Times. “You know those pundits who bore you trying to balance everyone’s point of view? Coulter isn’t one,†People Magazine. “A great deal of research supports Ms. Coulter’s wisecracks,†New York Times. “The conservative movement has found its diva,†Bill Maher.
So Ann, I bid you a fond farewell and remember I love my President, Republican Congress and Senate, and it looks like the first Republican governor for the state of Washington in 24 years. The people have spoken, case closed.
