“The following items were selected from reports made to the Island County Sheriff’s Office:Tuesday, June 20At 8:23 p.m., a girl reported that a man at the playground in the Country Place Mobile Home Park threatened her and the kids she is babysitting.At 9:07 p.m., a car fire was reported on HIghway 20 near Oak Harbor.Wednesday, June 21At 4:18 p.m., a woman reported that her father’s Van Dam Road home was burglarized.At 5:15 p.m., an Oak Harbor Road resident reported that his two bikes were stolen.At 7:58 p.m., a West Crescent Harbor Lane resident reported that a woman was at the door crying and said her boyfriend kicked her out of his car.Thursday, June 22At 7:33 a.m., a Marine View Drive resident reported that an injured deer was in his yard.At 3:34 p.m., a car fire was reported at West Beach.At 5:10 p.m., a Deer Ridge Road resident reported that his home was burglarized and his microwave and VCR were taken.At 5:38 p.m., the state Emergency Department reported that early that morning a barge sank off of Parego’s Point in 260 feet of water. There was no cargo and no sheen on the water.At 5:56 p.m., a large fire was reported at the Camp Casey beach.Friday, June 23At 9:56 a.m., a Van Dam Road resident reported that someone broke into his home for the third time. This time the burglar stole a TV.The following items were selected from reports made to the Oak Harbor Police Department:Wednesday, June 21At 2:43 p.m., a man reported that a woman was harassed and slapped by two women.At 3:58 p.m., a S.W. Swantown Avenue resident reported that a lawnmower was stolen from the home.At 7:17 p.m., a women reported that her 7-year-old daughter had been molested at Oak Harbor Elementary School. The alleged assault involved another student. The case is under investigation.At 11:21 p.m., a caller reported that a woman on S.E. O’Leary Street was hallucinating and threatening to kill people.Thursday, June 22At 1:08 a.m., a caller reported that a man grabbed a woman’s breast in front of For Pete’s Sake.At 1:18 a.m., a caller reported that a man in a dark ski mask ran across N. Oak Harbor Street.At 5:33 p.m., a caller reported that about seven kids were skateboarding at the wading pool at City Beach Park.At 5:57 p.m., there was a report that a woman was assaulted by a man.At 6:06 p.m., a woman reported that her car was vandalized at S.W. Kimball.At 4:37 p.m., a N.W. Elwha Street resident reported that the neighborhood water was full of dirt.At 4:42 p.m., a N.W. Cathlamet resident complained about the quality of his tap water.At 4:46 p.m., a N.W. Columbia Drive resident reported that the water was running brown.”
