Oak Harbor Music Festival announces new leadership

The Festival announced its Board of Directors for 2025 ahead of the event’s 14th edition.

The Oak Harbor Music Festival announced its Board of Directors for 2025 as the festival gears up for its 14th annual three-day free music celebration, according to a press release.

As one of Oak Harbor’s most anticipated community events, OHMF remains committed to providing a platform for music lovers of all ages and backgrounds to come together, experience live performances, and celebrate musical diversity.

After nearly a decade of dedicated service, Bill Walker and Eric Schelling will be stepping down from their volunteer roles. Both men contributed significantly to the festival’s success. Their leadership and tireless efforts have been instrumental in shaping OHMF into the beloved event it is today.

The OHMF is pleased to welcome two new, dynamic leaders to its Board of Directors:

• Mary Elizabeth Himes, Board of Director and Food Vendor chair, brings a wealth of experience in event planning and community engagement. With a keen eye for detail and a strong passion for local food culture, she will oversee food vendor operations, ensuring a diverse and memorable experience for festival-goers.

• Dianna Bodin, Board of Director and Treasurer, joins the team with a strong background in finance and nonprofit leadership. Her expertise will ensure that OHMF continues to operate efficiently and effectively, maintaining its financial health and sustainability.

Additionally, the following board members will continue their important work with OHMF:

• Cynthia Mason, Margaret Livermore, River Powers, Skip Grehan, Larry Mason and Rachel Spears

These individuals will continue to serve and provide their invaluable experience and support as the festival enters its 14th year. The team is poised to bring another year of exceptional performances and community celebration.
