It’s only October and high school graduation is already on the mind of Joycelin Vester.

“If we wait around, there’s going to be so much going on,” she said.

Vester is part of a group of Oak Harbor High School Grad Night Boosters already laying the groundwork for graduation night celebration festivities in June for the Class of 2014.

She wants parents to know that graduation night celebration tickets are already on sale, with the deadline for the most affordable option arriving on Nov. 15.

“Time is moving so quickly,” said Vester, who has two sons at the high school, including senior Jahleel Vester.

“We try to start early so people can plan ahead.”

The cost for each senior to attend the secretive event is $155 if paid before Nov. 15, with a payment plan available for this option. Ticket prices increase by as much as $35 for those who wait till next spring.
