Three Oak Harbor High School video students earned the GRAND PRIZE in a contest to create public service announcements for the Radio Television Digital News Foundation in Washington, D.C. As winners in the 2011 “REALLY?” contest, Jenna Chiaraluce, Xana Gilman and Denae McGaha will share the $1,000 prize and Chris Douthitt’s video classroom will receive an additional $1,000. The videos asked the question “Really?” in promoting the news literacy concepts promoted by the foundation.
