For the third time this season, the Oak Harbor High School tennis team lost a conference match by one point when it fell 4-3 at Marysville-Pilchuck High School Thursday, Sept. 22.

For the third time this season, the Oak Harbor High School tennis team lost a conference match by one point when it fell 4-3 at Marysville-Pilchuck High School Thursday, Sept. 22.

All three Wildcat wins came in singles: Jackson Wezeman won 6-0, 6-0; Jordan Park won 6-1, 6-2; and JJ Mitchell won 6-1, 6-0.

Sid Thomas dropped fourth singles in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 6-3.

Doubles: 1, John Bird/Matthew Kolden lost 6-2, 6-2; 2, Jacob Schermerhorn/Royce Abuda lost 6-2, 6-0; and 3, Ryan Mene/Scot Erickson lost 6-3, 6-2.

Shorecrest (4-0, 9-0) visits Oak Harbor (0-6, 2-7) at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26.
