Best Western Plus in Oak Harbor received the Best Western Hotels & Resorts Chairman’s Award, the highest honor for quality standards, according to a press release.

The award recognizes the chain’s hotels that score in the top 5 percent of more than 2,100 properties with respect to cleanliness and maintenance inspection scores.

“It’s an honor to be receiving the Chairman’s Award from Best Western,” said C. Marshall Smith, general manager.
