Reading Wednesday’s paper and the article about garbage cans bought my problem to the fore: the city not completely emptying your can so that the next week you have to watch how much you put in it, or the lid won’t close. This has happened to us twice. Do you think it would do any good to call the city? I think not. It’s not my fault that the can won’t allow certain items to be placed in it, or the can won’t empty. That’s the city’s fault.
So far I have complained to the city, but with their big deal on lids not closed I’ll make sure mine is. Then let’s see if they show up to empty the can correctly.
