After living in the area for close to two years, I have come to the realization that the real estate market is slowly starting to out-price Oak Harbor’s main source of income, the military.

I hope that the Oak Harbor City Council takes this into consideration when it comes time to approve the next housing development, ensuring that it is constructed with homes that enlisted members of the military can afford.
