Markets are open

Farmers’ markets are open up and down Whidbey Island.

With lots of different fresh produce why not plan a vegetarian meal. Ask the growers for recipes or ideas.

Eager shoppers can also scoop up crafts as well as art for the home and garden. Keep an eye out for landscape-ready shrubs, trees and other plants.

There’s sure to be kettle corn to munch and maybe just-baked muffins.
