An Oak Harbor man is accused of entering his estranged wife’s home without permission, stealing her laptop, accessing her email and social media, stealing information and stalking her, according to court documents.

Prosecutors charged 36-year-old London M. Williams in Island County Superior Court Oct. 22 with residential burglary, stalking, computer trespass in the first degree and identity theft in the second degree.

In August, the alleged victim told police that Williams had gone into her house when she was away and taken her laptop, divorce papers and a gun; they had been separated for two years and he wasn’t allowed in the house without her permission, according to a report by an Oak Harbor officer.

Williams allegedly used a password that was saved on her laptop to access her emails and forwarded emails to himself, including some that included personal information about her boyfriend, including a rental application.

Williams allegedly logged into her Facebook page and her Facebook Messenger account, changed the password, downloaded all her posts and messages and then made posts and sent messages pretending to be her, the report states.

Williams allegedly got her boyfriend’s address from her emails and showed up at least twice there; once he was there in the morning and followed her to work, the officer write,

When first contacted by police, Williams admitted to taking the woman’s divorce papers and he returned them, but he denied taking the laptop. Later, he admitted to an officer that he had taken the laptop but wasn’t done going through it when contacted by police; he said he later threw it off the bridge, the report states.
