The North Whidbey Little League will hold its annual general meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 19, in the Centennial Room at the First United Methodist Church on SE Ireland Street in Oak Harbor.

The meeting is required by Little League International for the purpose of presenting the “State of the League Report” by the 2008 board of directors, determining the number of board members above the minimum required and taking nominations for the 2009 board of directors.

This is an opportunity for NWLL parents to join in on the discussion regarding league activities and be a part of the decision-making process of electing the 2009 board of directors.

All NWLL parents and volunteers should plan on attending this important meeting.

“Please continue your support of North Whidbey Little League by attending this meeting and expressing your views,” said board member Rita Cline. “We would like to hear from you, the parents and volunteers, as to how this league performed this year and whether it met your expectations. If not, we would like to hear from you about what we and can do in the future, within the rules of Little League International, to improve the league’s performance.”
