Leon Bylenok, beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away surrounded by family on Oct. 24, 2005 in Tucson, Ariz. Born in Tonawanda, N.Y.,on Dec. 15, 1919, he earned his pharmacy degree from the University of Buffalo and his DDS from the University of Pittsburg and served as a Naval lieutenant. Lee was a life-long learner. He transitioned from orthodontist to groundbreaking advocate for alternative healthcare with the creation of his website www.dr-bylenok.com.
Lee raised his family in Buffalo, N.Y., relocated to Olean, N.Y., retired to Oak Harbor, and spent his final years in Tucson, Ariz. He was preceded in death by Lois, his wife of 58 years. He is survived by his children Brian (Carol), Barbara (Michael) Mondrus, Mary Lynn (Jim) Bob, Marsha (Richard) Radford, Tom (Kathy), 10 grandchildren, sisters Anita Bylenok and Dox (John) Narog. He will be greatly missed.
