In regards to the Maurice Mella molestation story (News-Times, July 26). I am sitting here with employees and friends who at one time saw Mella on a daily basis. We are all sick to our stomachs that this man had to serve a whole day in jail. Who cares about the fine? He has the money to pay that and then go on a cruise. We are talking about a 6-year-old child here. We all cannot believe this sicko isn’t locked up. How do we or other parents know he won’t do it again, especially when he had no punishment?
