The following items were selected from reports made to the Oak Harbor Police Department:
Friday, Jan. 15
At 12:15 p.m., a caller at a Pioneer Way business reported that a person purchased a ruler and may be using the ruler to get into the back window of a car.
At 4:43 p.m., there was a report of a fight between three people at a State Highway 20 location. One subject grabbed another and started punching him in the face.
At 10:13 p.m., a caller reported that someone was “flashing a gun” at a location on Midway Boulevard.
Saturday, Jan. 16
At 3:51 p.m., a caller reported that a car was on the side of the highway near Swantown Avenue. The driver appeared very intoxicated and smelled of alcohol.
At 6:39 p.m., a Northwest Clipper Drive resident said a camper trailer was broken into and items thrown outside.
At 9:59 p.m., a Northwest 11th Court resident reported that 15 drunk people at a party next door yelled and threatened her when she stepped outside.
Sunday, Jan. 17
At 12:34 a.m., a caller reported that minors were drinking at a huge party on Southwest Second Avenue.
At 3:36 a.m., a caller said someone dressed in black on the highway, yelling, “You think I’m plain Jane” and “Just wait ’til I get there.”
At 10:45 a.m., a caller reported that during a property inspection people were found illegally inside a Southeast Ninth Avenue house.
At 7:55 p.m., a caller reported that a motorcyclist was yelling and possibly intoxicated while riding up and down Southwest Ulysses Street with no helmet.
At 10:26 p.m., a Northwest 16th Avenue resident said a man wearing all black was talking to himself.
Monday, Jan. 18
At 8:32 a.m., a Southwest Fleet Street resident reported that the front window was shot out, possibly with a pellet gun.
At 2:02 p.m., a Southwest Fairway Point Drive resident said a car was broken into. Someone else’s cell phone was left inside.
Tuesday, Jan. 19
At 1:36 p.m., a caller on Pioneer Way reported that two people came in the business, said they are scared and hid in the bathroom.
At 7:13 p.m., a woman reported that someone is texting and harassing her.
At 7:31 p.m., a Goldie Street resident reported that the neighbor is beating a child.
Wednesday, Jan. 20
At 6 a.m., a Highway 20 resident reported that a man was sleeping next to the wood pile.
At 7:45 a.m., an injured seagull was reported on a playground on Midway Boulevard.
At 2:07 p.m., a man reported that a dog bit him while he was jogging on Heller Street.
At 6:04 p.m., an Oleary Street resident reported that a roommate may have placed something suspicious in her room. The roommate also took photos of her without permission.
At 6:52 p.m., an Oleary Street resident reported finding maggots in her meal. She reported that they were put there on purpose.
Thursday, Jan. 21
At 7:21 p.m., a Southwest Sixth Avenue resident reported that two Mormons kept coming to the door after being asked to stop. The caller also talked to their bishop.
At 10:36 p.m., a caller reported that someone damaged the laundry room and “put wires in the ceiling” on Oleary Street.
Friday, Jan. 22
At 7:18 a.m., a caller reported that someone pulled a gun on him at a Highway 20 location.
At 7:57 a.m., a woman reported that a subject punched her in the chest and took her phone on Crosby Avenue.
At 9:46 a.m., a dead raccoon was reported on Goldie Street.
At 1:50 p.m., a resident reported that a disorderly subject was “bouncing off the walls” on Looking Glass Loop.
At 3:26 p.m., a resident reported finding pellet holes in a car on Northeast 16th Avenue.
At 7:11 p.m., a North Oak Harbor Street resident reported that he and his wife are tired of outside forces telling them what to think. They were “praising our father” when their trailer broke down and someone called the police.
At 7:19 p.m., an East Whidbey Avenue resident reported that a disorderly person was rambling and yelling on East Whidbey Avenue.
Saturday, Jan. 23
At 8:19 a.m., a Northwest Fairhaven Drive resident said someone put over 50 plastic forks in the lawn.
At 9:14 a.m., a man was reportedly screaming to himself on East Whidbey Avenue.
At 10:35 a.m., a caller reported that two people were shooting air rifles at squirrels on Northeast Netlam Lane.
At 11:03 a.m., a Southwest Swantown Avenue man reported receiving a text warning he would be shot or stabbed if he goes downtown.
At 1:20 p.m., a North Oak Harbor Street resident reported that a neighbor was pounding on the door and “spouting off” about religion.
At 2:27 p.m., a Fairhaven Drive resident reported that packages were stolen off the porch.
At 3:05 p.m., a resident reported that someone threatened to kill her boyfriend.

At 3:12 a.m., a Southeast 11th Avenue resident reported laughing, loud music and drinking outside.
