Sunday, Jan. 30

At 1:55 a.m., a caller reported having problems with a tenant at a Hersig Road property who was being loud and was starting a “commune.”

At 3:31 p.m., a caller reported that a car hit a tree on Oak Harbor Road and that a fight broke out.

At 3:55 p.m., a caller reported that a dead deer was on a bicycle path off Polnell Road.

At 9:46 p.m., a Lake Forest Drive resident reported that his ex-girlfriend kept calling him when he was trying to sleep.

Saturday, Jan. 29

At 12:57 a.m., a caller reported seeing two bicyclists dump their bikes and run into the woods on Highway 20 near Miller Road.

At 1:27 a.m., a caller reported loose cows on Terry Road.

At 7:47 a.m., a Hersig Road resident reported that seven to 10 people broke a car window and destroyed property at his home.

At 9:16 a.m., a man reported that he accidentally received text messages that seemed to be a from a woman texting a service member about “giving their daughter a sexual disease.”

At 12:20 p.m., a Wilderness Way resident reported finding a prowler on the caller’s property. The prowler claimed to be a Jehovah’s Witness and said he was looking for Spanish-speaking people in the community. The caller said he “he did not look like a normal Jehovah’s Witness.”

Friday, Jan. 28

At 6:15 a.m., a Mark Street resident reported that a neighbor’s three Great Danes wouldn’t stop barking.

At 2:39 p.m., a caller reported that an elderly lady walking in the Waterloo Road area seemed disoriented.

At 5:35 p.m., a caller reported hearing a woman scream, “Help, help he’s raping me” somewhere in the Park Acres Drive area.

Thursday, Jan. 27

At 8:22 a.m., a caller reported that a man passed out in a car on Wanamaker Road. A bus driver knocked on the car window, but the man did not respond.

At 10:34 a.m., a resident reported that he found an injured dog on the side of Westwood Place.

At 12:52 p.m., a woman reported that her 2-year-old child was taken by the child’s grandmother without permission.

At 10:11 p.m., a caller reported loose cows on Airline Way.

Wednesday, Jan. 26

At 12:43 a.m., there was a report of a large tree down across Highway 20 near the bridge.

At 2:53 p.m., a driver reported that a woman swerved her black pickup truck at the caller’s vehicle on Highway 20 near Terry Road.

At 11:04 p.m., a Park Acres Drive resident reported that her ex-boyfriend took her dog.

Tuesday, Jan. 25

At 10:43 a.m., a Sage Lane resident reported that an Akita that attacked her dog the week before returned to her yard.

At 12:03 p.m., there was a report of a “homeless situation” involving four animals on Schay Road.

At 12:28 p.m., a caller reported that four horses were in the middle of Highway 20.

At 1 p.m., a caller reported that a neighbor on Evergreen Street was “acting strangely, yelling, ranting, parking in their cul de sac.”

At 1:35 p.m., a woman reported that her ex-boyfriend was keeping her from her daughter.

At 3:50 p.m., a repo man reported he was doing a repossession at Diane Avenue and the homeowner was irate. The man said the tow truck would wait for deputies to arrive.

At 4:24 p.m., a caller reported that a woman was lying down on Deception Pass Bridge.

Monday, Jan. 24

At 10:19 a.m., a woman calling from the Liberty Market said she needed a lawyer, then she said she was raped, then she said she was “mind raped.”

At 10:53 a.m., there was a report that a mailbox was stolen on Arnold Road.

At 9:19 p.m., a woman wanted on warrants asked to meet a deputy at the Deception Pass Bridge to turn herself in.
