Wednesday, Jan. 14

At 8:41 a.m., a cat was caught in a trap at a residence on Nunan Loop. The animal needed to be picked up.

At 9:08 a.m., a caller reported a stray cat was attacked by a dog last night in the 700 block of NW Crosby Avenue. Caller said the animal was severely injured.

At 10:54 a.m., a vehicle was reported broken into and an iPod stolen while parked at a location in the 900 block of London Terrace.

At 11:39 a.m., a caller reported a fraud/forgery at a residence in the 1400 block of SW Second Way.

At 12:44 p.m., a suspect was arrested at the intersection of NE Regatta Drive and Highway 20 for driving while license suspended.

At 1:45 p.m., a suspect was arrested in the 1100 block of W Whidbey Avenue for driving while license suspended/revoked.

At 1:56 p.m., a caller reported loud music coming from a vehicle parked at an apartment complex near the intersection of N Oak Harbor Street and E Whidbey Avenue.

At 3:53 p.m., a caller reported finding a pair of tennis shoes in front of a house in the 300 block of SE Pasek Street. Homeowners were away and caller thought it was suspicious.

At 4:11 p.m., an assault was reported at a location in the 700 block of NW Crosby Avenue.

At 7:11 p.m., a caller reported a hit-and-run traffic accident occurred at a location in the 32000 block of Highway 20.

At 7:53 p.m., a caller reported an intoxicated subject “staggering, hitting signs and throwing things” in the 200 block of SE Pioneer Way.

At 10:38 p.m., a shoplifter was reported at a business in the 32000 block of Highway 20. Caller reported an employee was in foot pursuit of the subject.

Sunday, Jan. 11

At 10:47 p.m., a caller reported that two people in a small skiff floating near Ebey’s Landing, were shooting guns.

At 8:26 a.m., a caller reported the fueling pier has broken away from the Coupeville Wharf.

Saturday, Jan. 10

At 9:27 p.m., a caller reported someone taking swings at a nurse at a North Main Street location.

Thursday, Jan. 8

At 10:19 a.m., a NE Eighth Street resident reported hearing multiple gunshots over the past three hours.

Monday, Jan. 5

At 3:50 p.m., a caller reported finding a rolled sleeping pad, tent and other items on the wooded path near the intersection of N Main and NW First streets.
