Island County seeks applicants to serve on the Civil Service Commission

The Island County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill a six-year term on the Civil Service Commission for the county Sheriff’s Office.

The Island County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill a six-year term on the Civil Service Commission for the county Sheriff’s Office.

The commission meets 9:30 a.m. the second Thursday of each month.

Service on the commission is without fee or compensation.

Members must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of Island County for at least two years immediately preceding appointment as well as a registered voter in Island County.
