Irish hit the Oak Harbor with enthusiasm

Many thanks to those who came downtown for the 38th St. Patrick’s Day Parade! The weather was sunny and we had 26 entries this year. Awards for green attire and Irish enthusiasm went to: the OHHS Cheerleaders, O’Crab Queens, Reece & Riley in their wagon, two gals with homemade mini-Irish hats, and Fojo the greyhound.

Special thanks to Moving and Grooving, Paul Kuzina, our Community Band, Oak Harbor Lions, Midway Florist, Custom Engraving and Mr. Music for their support for this annual community event.

We also thank the city for helping advertise the parade and organizing the slight detour down Dock Street this year. We are excited for next year’s parade down a brand new Pioneer Way. Hip, hip, hooray!
