Spirit Halloween plans to open Friday.

The speciality retailer, based in New Jersey, sells costumes, decorations and other Halloween accessories.

If you want a three-headed animatronic dog to scare trick-o-treaters, this is the place. Or a grandma in a wheelchair with a bloody cleaver.

Or other creepy accoutrements such as spider webs, skeletons or zombie babies.

The company is the largest seasonal speciality retailer with more than 1,100 locations around the country, said spokeswoman Trisha Lombardo.

All of them open for six to eight weeks.

Last year, the company rented out the old Blockbuster building off of State Highway 20.

Spirit Halloween officials said they plan to hire 25 employees. Those interested can apply online at Work4Spirit.com
