The following calls were made to the Island County Sheriff’s Department.

Monday, July 22

At 12:04 p.m., a Hazzle Court resident reported that a dog was circling the house.

At 4:14 p.m., a resident reported that a male subject was trying to kick in a house on Topaz Court.

At 5:24 p.m., caller reported that huskies were attacking horses on Bayview Road.

Tuesday, July 23

At 11 a.m., a caller reported that tires and rims were stolen off a deck on Custer Street.

At 2:52 p.m., a resident reported that buffalo on a Highway 20 farm were being abused.

At 7:53 p.m., a caller in the Scenic Heights Road area reported that there was a smell like something was dead in a woods.

Wednesday, July 24

At 3:39 a.m., a resident reported that a half-dressed man with a gun on his belt was sitting in a car on a driveway off Glendale Road.

At 11:47 a.m., there was a report of someone brandishing a gun near a fabric store.

At 6:35 p.m., a Zylstra Road resident reported that an air compressor was stolen.

At 7:03 p.m., a caller on West Beach reported a submarine theft.

At 8:40 p.m., a caller on Swanton Road asked if people are allowed to set off little mini air balloons.
