The following items were selected from reports made to the Island County Sheriff’s Office:

Friday, Jan. 27

At 9:21 a.m., a Coupeville school employee reported that a parent said a student took inappropriate photos of another student.

At 12:01 p.m., a caller reported that six to eight blasting caps were inside a building on Case Road for about 60 years. The building was going to be torn down.

At 12:48 p.m., a caller reported that tools were stolen from a site on Pioneer Park Place.

At 1:26 p.m., a Crescent Harbor Acres Road resident reported that a neighbor’s goats keep coming on her property.

At 9:25 p.m., a caller on Wieldraayer Road reported that “a really big dude with a scraggly beard” was being loud and was asked to leave.

Saturday, Jan. 28

At 3:06 p.m., a Van Dam Road resident reported that people were trespassing on the property of a person who recently passed away.

At 4:23 p.m., an Intruder Lane resident reported that a neighbor’s dog attacked and killed the chickens.

Sunday, Jan. 29

At 5:20 p.m., a caller on West Beach Road reported that a cousin was threatening to run into the road and get hit by a car.

At 5:39 p.m., a caller on Forest Glen Road reported that a client attacked another at an adult family home.

At 8:26 p.m., a resident reported that his wife might have been held hostage.

Monday, Jan. 30

At 9:44 a.m., a resident reported that the owner of dogs and puppies on Cascade Place was gone for two days and left the animals without water.

At 12:07 p.m., a driver reported that a man in a red jacket was holding a silver handgun at a roundabout on Ault Field Road.

At 3:45 p.m., a caller reported that he wants to build a plexiglass tunnel between Whidbey and Camano islands.

At 8:02 p.m., a caller at the hospital reported that a patient in the ER had been assaulted.

At 8:10 p.m., a Central Whidbey caller reported that his daughter was threatened at school by a student who threatened to shoot her house.
