What do we get when we approve the $6.5 million bond for athletic facilities?

A covered stadium with seating for 2,500. Visitor bleachers with seating for 500. Locker facilities that are up to code. A synthetic field that does not need maintenance and can be used 365 days a year. An outdoor facility that can be used daily by NJROTC, marching band, and P.E. classes, as well as for school and community athletics. Resurfacing of the tennis courts. A redone soccer field. An improved baseball field.

Just as important, we get the return of track and field to Oak Harbor (we have not had a home meet in years). We get to host football and soccer playoff games again. We get to honor veterans by putting the memorial back in Memorial Stadium. We get to feel the pride of a community that knows how to do things right.

Vote yes to build a new Memorial Stadium next to the high school.
