Get your tickets and delight in outdoors on Whidbey

The Oak Harbor Garden Club’s annual tour and tea is Saturday, June 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A variety of gardens will be open.

a A low maintenance yard was created for simplicity. It’s filled with color, trees as well as a deck and a waterfall.

a A park with a view covers six acres and contains a number of old-growth firs. Other trees were gifts from the owners’ children. Native rock forms borders, paths, terraces and retaining walls.

a A busy, peaceful yard was designed for lawn reduction. Gravel paths were lined with lavender and ground covers. An oriental area has a pond and bridge, a dragon house and tori.
