Future is in good hands

I would like to bring to the attention of the community a special girl. She is a third-grade student at Broad View Elementary named Allison Stewart. I used her babysitting services for my two cats, Seamus and Muffie, while I went on vacation. Her job was to feed, play with and clean up their litter boxes.

The day I returned to Oak Harbor, I was asked by the Department of Social and Health Services to go to Louisiana to help process evacuees. I asked Allison to continue helping me. When I returned to Oak Harbor expecting to pay for the extended time, I was informed by Ms. Stewart that she would not accept pay for the time I was helping in Louisiana because she wanted to help too. This is an example of our younger generation. I think the future is in good hands.
