I feel obligated to inform islanders that, even though the Shifty Sailors are pictured on the Coupeville Arts and Crafts Festival poster, we will not be performing this coming weekend at the festival.

We, however, as long-time festival supporters, hope to once again reach agreement with the Festival Association and be back performing next year.

If you want to hear the Shifty Sailors on Saturday, August 12, you can walk on the Clinton-Mukilteo ferry and catch us singing at the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the Mukilteo Lighthouse (3 to 3:45 p.m.).
