Oak Harbor and Coupeville high school fall athletes recently received letters and awards.

Oak Harbor and Coupeville high school fall athletes recently received letters and awards.

Letters and awards for the Oak Harbor football team and cheer squad and special awards for the Oak Harbor volleyball team will be announced at a later date, according to their coaches.

 

Oak Harbor Volleyball

Coach: Kerri Molitor.

Record: 11-7; Wesco, 9-3, second place overall, first place North; district, fourth place.

Senior letter winners: Hailey Beecher, Amelia Berner, Kaylee Lamb, Aubrey Lock, Natalie McVey, Kenna Prosch (manager), Daranee Sornthom.

Juniors: Claire Anderson, Geslyne Barreta, Priya Osborne, Janae Payne, AnnaBelle Whitefoot.

Note: John Rodeheffer was the league and district champion and placed fourth at state, tying the best finish ever by a Wildcat. Horn was the league champion, placed second in district and 12th at state. She is the first OHHS girl to finish in the top 12 at state twice.
