Harvest Happening, this year’s annual fundraiser for the Pacific NorthWest Art School, will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Coupeville Recreation Hall.

Dance the night away to live music, wearing a harvest inspired mask and costume, if you choose. Enjoy appetizers and wines or have a caricature drawn. All proceeds fund art school programs, which offer visual arts education, free community lectures and presentations, Youth Art, scholarships, Art Excursions and more.

New this year will be the unveiling of a sculpture that will be attached to the building as visible appreciation of our patrons’ support. Each patron who supports the “Fund the Programs” portion of the event at the $250 level or higher will get a piece of the sculpture and will be able to watch the sculpture grow as support grows.

Tickets are $50 and are on sale now. Come by the school from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to purchase. Call 360-678-3398 for information.
