Enita Terry Park

Enita Terry Park

Enita Terry Park passed away peacefully on July 10, 2014, at home in Eugene, Ore., with family by her side.

Born on July 31, 1940, in Seattle, Terry lived on Whidbey Island from 1964 to 1975.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents Enita (McMillan) Hartley and Bob Hartley and former husband Mikal Park.

She is survived by Rob Dannemiller of Eugene, her partner of almost 40 years; daughters Penny Park and Jessica Chanay of Portland; brothers Jamie Hartley and Mark Hartley of Whidbey Island; grandchildren Raven, Kyle, Cassy and Nigel of Portland and Eugene; as well as five nephews.

Terry’s father was an Air Force pilot, and she moved around the U.S. and Canada quite a bit during her childhood and teenage years. As an adult she worked as a bank clerk, saleswoman and massage therapist but will be mostly remembered as an artist and loving grandmother.

She was a generous and loving person who touched many lives, as she fed and sheltered many over the years. Terry loved to paint, spend time with her family and friends, dote on her animals, and spend time in her garden. She loved life. Terry will be greatly missed.
