Saturday, Aug. 30

At 2 p.m., a woman reported finding a police officer’s coat on Barrington Drive.

At 2:32 p.m., a caller reported that a man opened up “a bag of whiskey” at Windjammer Park.

At 5:44 p.m., a woman at a business on State Highway 20 reported that a customer spit on her.

At 11:38 p.m., there was a report of kids throwing things at cars on Crosby Avenue.

Sunday, Aug. 31

At 2:15 p.m., a caller reported that a homeless person was pushing kids on a merry-go-round at a park on Jensen Street.

At 7:14 p.m., the ER reported that a patient has a dog bite.

At 9:03 p.m., a man on Barrington Drive reported being robbed by the homeless.

At 1:22 p.m., a caller reported that a person was face-down in the bushes along the highway.

At 1:30 p.m., a woman on Midway Boulevard reported that a cat is trapped in the box spring of her bed.

Monday, Sept. 1

At 3:11 a.m., a caller reported that people were smoking meth next to a gas pump at a Highway 20 gas station.

At 6:52 a.m., there was a report that a man dressed in black was walking toward the donut shop.

At 6:21 p.m., a woman reported that her “ex” hit her with his car.

At 8:19 p.m., a caller reported that a 2-year-old child was walking in the roadway on Highway 20.

Tuesday, Sept. 2

At 11:15 a.m., there was a report that a baby was abandoned in a parking lot on Southwest Third Avenue.

At 11:57 p.m., a Barron Drive resident reported that neighbors were stomping, banging, running and yelling.

Tuesday, Sept. 3

At 6:23 a.m., a driver reported that a woman was sitting on Deception Pass Bridge with her legs dangling off.

At 11:26 a.m., harassment was reported at the Help House.

At 11:55 a.m., a caller reported that the tires were slashed on a car on North Oak Harbor Street.

At 3:29 p.m., a woman on Barrington Drive reported that someone defecated in her ear and then asked, “Where is your Christmas now?”

At 4:03 p.m., a woman reported that someone in a silver car drove by on East Whidbey Avenue and threw a rock at her leg.

At 5:21 p.m., a caller reported that someone in a car dumped mail behind the Elks Lodge.

At 8:45 p.m., there was a report that a strange woman was walking around an elementary school and peeking into classrooms.

Wednesday, Sept. 4

At 12:44 p.m., a caller reported that a man climbed up a tree and started shouting on Southeast 11th Avenue.

At 12:45 p.m., there was a report that a car ran into a building on Koetje Street.

Thursday, Sept. 5

At 6:11 p.m., a caller reported that an injured seagull was in the parking lot at AM/PM.

At 7:43 p.m., a caller reported that a “wobbly” woman was dancing under the street lights on Southwest Eighth Avenue.

Friday, Sept. 6

At 6:51 a.m., a caller reported that a lady was going crazy and throwing things on Bayshore Drive.

At 12:21 p.m., a caller on Barrington Drive reported being harassed by the public.

At 11:46 p.m., the hospital reported that a patient in the ER had a dog bite.

Saturday, Sept. 7

At 9:30 a.m., a caller reported that a man in a black knit cap was lying on the sidewalk along the highway.

At 11:33 a.m., a Northwest Anchor Drive resident reported that a man knocked on the door and told her there were dead chickens in her backyard. When she and her husband went to check, they could see the man peeking over the fence.

At 7:37 p.m., a caller from a Bayshore business reported that someone is trying to leave without paying for nails.

At 8:57 p.m., a caller reported that a house on Northeast Seventh Avenue may have been hit by lightning.

Sunday, Sept. 8

At 8:54 p.m., a woman in Oak Harbor reported that she is being targeted and poisoned. She said someone broke into her hotel room.

At 11:43 p.m., a caller reported that a man was playing electric guitar and walking up and down North Oak Harbor Street.
