This letter is in response to Walt Mistler, Whidbey News-Times, Aug. 6. Fox news is down and the president’s poll numbers are low. What’s your point? Does that mean Republicans will become Democrats? Are you writing to the Democrats who voted Republican? At least Fox tells the facts unlike CBS who had to ask Dan Rather to step down. The Canadian border is two hours away and they won’t allow Fox news or any conservative news at all.

You Bush bashers are relentless. Whose fault is it anyway that the Democratic Party has lost absolute power? I will give you a good source of information. Forget about TV news and prejudiced views from people whose opinion is biased. Read “Because He Could” by Dick Morris. He worked 20 years for former President Clinton and if anyone knows what happened, he does. There you will find out why the Democrats have lost power and if you are 45 or older, you may never see another Democrat president again in your lifetime.

Hillary will get the go ahead to run and she will have to beat probably a McCain/ Giuliani ticket. Not going to happen. Remember that the president clearly stated we would track down all terrorists and countries that harbor them. Iraq is clearly a terrorist nation. Nevertheless, remember this Mr. Mistler: “I feel your pain.”
