She said two of the victims were an elderly couple from Oak Harbor, who were heading off to go crabbing with their dog.

Both were transported to area hospitals.

Carol Barnes, animal control officer for Island County, took the dog to a Coupeville vet clinic where it’s being treated for lacerations and a concussion.

There were also reports a person was airlifted from the accident.

More information will be reported as it is confirmed.
