The following items were selected from reports made to the Island County Sheriff’s Office:

Monday, July 2

At 7:59 a.m., a woman on Hamilton Drive reported that a female associate of her son may be a prostitute. She said she can’t warn him because he’s in jail.

At 4:55 p.m., a caller reported that a long-haired, bearded man was on West Beach Road, acting like he is “blessing the street.”

Tuesday, July 3

At 6:30 a.m., a man on Swantown Road reported that someone stole tools from a house.

At 12:21 p.m., there was a report of two dead bunnies near the entrance to Saratoga Woods.

Wednesday, July 4

At 1:27 a.m., a caller reported that about 30 kids were having a party at a Bush Point Road house and they were being disrespectful.

At 6:10 p.m., an Edgecliff Drive resident reported finding an “odd bag” leaking a substance at her front door.

Thursday, July 5

At 9:55 a.m., a Double Bluff Road resident reported that a duct-tape-wrapped sparkler bomb was in a mailbox. The State Patrol bomb squad was called.

At 11:36 a.m., a collision involving a boat and a jet ski was reported near Cornet Bay. The boat driver transported the injured jet skier to the dock.

At 1:10 p.m., there was a report of a man crabbing way over his limit at the Coupeville Wharf.

At 8:05 p.m., a caller reported that a Bounty Loop home was burglarized.

Friday, July 6

At 9:21 a.m., there was a report that sewage was backing up into stores in Langley.

At 4:41 p.m., a Coupe-ville woman reported receiving “graphic” calls from men who say they can see her.

Saturday, July 7

At 11:11 p.m., a caller reported that a man was walking up and down Devries Road, screaming profanities and threatened to kill someone.

Sunday, July 8

At 3:12 a.m., a caller on Waterloo Road reported being assaulted by two or three people. The caller said she was hit in the face and suffered a broken finger.

At 5:19 a.m., a caller at Walmart reported a man tried to shoplift a 49-inch TV.

At 8:43 a.m., a man on Maxwelton Road reported finding a man he let stay at his shop naked on the floor and refusing to speak.

At 9:17 a.m., there was a report of a large blanket in the road on Highway 525.

At 9:34 a.m., a caller on Burma Road reported that a neighbor woman was riding up and down the street on a mower, looking for her son.

At 11:05 a.m., a caller reported that a man in a truck parked near the Coupeville ferry dock was not breathing and unresponsive.

At 3:02 p.m., a caller reported a dead pig in the water off a pier in Freeland.

At 4:05 p.m., there was a report that a car containing a dog and a purse was stolen from Bercot Road. The woman later found it.

At 5:10 p.m., a man reported that his truck was stolen from Deception Circle.

At 5:22 p.m., a driver reported that his vehicle lost a bumper and someone in another car stopped and stole it.

At 5:27 p.m., an Overview Drive resident reported that someone broke into a travel trailer.

At 6:20 p.m., a woman reported that a man who looked like a 20-year-old “rich kid” was in a 12-foot Lund and stole her crab pots.

At 6:27 p.m., a broken water main was reported on Burchell Road.

At 7:06 p.m., a man reported that someone stole his shorts with keys in them from the Useless Bay Country Club.

Monday, July 9

At 9:20 a.m., a Rhododendron Lane resident reported that she has video of her neighbor’s pitbulls in her backyard.

At 10:36 a.m., a Sunshine Lane resident reported that a neighbor’s dog attacked his donkey.

At 10:56 a.m., a caller reported that an elderly woman was driving a gray Jetta at about 3-4 mph in a 50 mph zone on Lone Lake Road.

At 11:33 a.m., a caller reported that a 66-foot boat was on fire off Clinton. The fire was extinguished about 10 minutes later.

At 11:47 a.m., a couple of callers reported that a man in a full “clown suit” was walking on Highway 20 in Central Whidbey. One of the callers said the clown looked sketchy.

At 12:15 p.m., a man reported that his dog was attacked and seriously injured by another dog at the Greenbank Farm.

At 12:26 p.m., a man reported that an irate driver was following him. The caller said he was circling the parking lot at Soundview Shopper and the other car was following him.

The angry driver eventually “flipped off” the caller and drove away.

At 1 p.m., a woman reported finding a calf leg in her yard on East Fakkema Road.

At 5:11 p.m., there was a report that a young male was masturbating on an Island Transit bus on Highway 525.

At 6:19 p.m., a Lotus Lane resident reported that someone tried to burn his vehicle.

At 6:21 p.m., a woman reported that four girls were climbing under Deception Pass Bridge.

At 7:13 p.m., a caller reported two kids were holding onto a capsized boat off Clinton.

Tuesday, July 10

At 1:21 p.m., a Sills Road resident reported returning home from sea to find his house had been broken into.

At 4:32 p.m., a caller reported that a man was grabbing a woman near Liberty Mart.

At 5:05 p.m., a Waterloo Road resident reported that a neighbor kid was flying a drove over the house.

At 9:11 p.m., a caller at the hospital reported that a drunk man refused to leave.
