Cool Bayview Nights Car Show set for June 30

The Cool Bayview Nights Car Show will be held at the Island County Fairgrounds in Langley again this year.

The show is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 30.

Musician Danny Ward will kick off the festivities by playing the National Anthem on his saxophone.

In addition to cars, there will be motorcycles and tractors entered in the show.

The entry fee is $20 per vehicle, or $25 the day of the event, with a $5 discount for active-duty military and veterans. All who pre-register by June 20 will receive a commemorative dash plaque and be entered in a drawing for a $100 Visa gift card.

All profits form the car show benefit Safe-Ride-Home and other Whidbey Island nonprofits.

This year’s show will have over 20 categories with trophies for cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors.

A donation of a can of food is suggested. Representatives from Good Cheer Food Bank will be at the gates to collect canned items.
