I thought hospital commissioners were supposed to oversee that the running of the hospital was done to improve care and the wise spending of funds held in trust for the benefit of tax-payers and not just to find ways to spend our money.

How about hiring more doctors with specialties, see that staff is well trained, efficient and modernizing with state-of-the-art equipment?

I agree with many folks that this new name sounds like it is a spa, serving natural foods, practicing holistic medicine, not a place for emergency treatment, surgery, and other medical services.
