A 50-year-old Clinton resident who was being held in King County Jail is accused of trying to hire fellow inmates to kill his ex-wife, according to court documents.

Anthony Billera, formerly of Greenbank, was charged with solicitation to commit murder. He was serving a yearlong sentence for violating a court order barring his from contacting his wife and son. He tracked them down even though they changed their names and address.

Billera’s record shows that he stalked his wife and teenaged son and has been found in contempt for approximately 65 violations of restraining orders, protection orders and criminal no-contact orders, according to the Web site www.King5.com.

Court documents state that Billera offered cash and a motorcycle to the inmates if they would kill the woman, but the two men turned him down.
