Church Notes

Here's what's happening at Whidbey Island churches and places of worship.

COFFEE BREAK BIBLE STUDY will begin the fall season with a study of the Gospel of Mark, a dynamic and straightforward account of Jesus’ public ministry, emphasizing him as a man of action. The group meets weekly Thursday mornings at the First Reformed Church, 250 SW 3rd Ave., Oak Harbor. The first meeting is 10-10:30 a.m. Sept. 15. This will be an opportunity to register, get acquainted and receive study material. Coffee Break is a non-denominational small group Bible study that is open to all women.
